Dahlia Kitten Sonnet:

Small, furry ball of fluff
Black as the depth of night.
She likes to nuzzle stuff,
A sweet fun-loving sight.

Bright green eyes,
Dahlia, that kitten over there.
She enjoys to hypnotize
Any person who comes near.

Sleeping by the windowsill
Tiny paws curled under fur.
A puffy ball of black sits still.
Until she starts to purr.

Playing with some silly string.
So cute, this fuzzy thing.

Dahlia Kitten Limerick:

Dahlia kitten plays
With her tail, on rainy days.
Circles round and round,
Dizzy, she falls to the ground,
Little black paws waving as she lays.

Dahlia Kitten Haiku:

Tiny sweet pink nose.
Sparkling green eyes, so wide.
Soft silky black fur.

Clept Poem:

He emerges from invisibility
Like a ghost,
Pulsing clear skin.
Every strange organ
Visible.
(You can see his grey brain.)
Clept can make
His skin look like glass,
More hazy, or blend into every color
In order to camouflage, and hide from reality.
He is
The Ultimate Observer.
Keeping to himself,
mostly.
Spot him gauntly walking
With a flowing, black sparkly poncho
Skin-tight
Black pants, and strange
Knee-length sandals
(a striking silver).
He’s bald as bald can be.
No hair,
anywhere.
Strange, lanky, tall
Blue-eyed creature;
That Sykobian Alien.

A [complete] mystery.

Sonnet:

After a night of fiery passion
Between Hobson and Veneer
Vanessa sanely rations
After finding out their fear.

The alarming possibility
That a catastrophe could occur.
They have too much fertility;
Their small world starts to whirl.

A night, full of emotion
Nemo opens up to everyone.
Wish there could be a notion
Of feelings, weighing a ton.

A long, good cry is crucial
To make their lives more fruitful.

Limerick:

A night of fun
Love has won
Snuggling in bed
Veneer’s cheeks are stained red
With embarrassment, from Hobson.

Haiku:

Love has opened up
A stone heart, rock-hard body
To let in the light.

Jabbersnatch Poem:

Jabbersnatch
Will snatch up your
Weak, beating heart
With pleasure.
Gender-Bender;
Taints reality by messing up the structure.
Sometimes female;
Sometimes male.
Who the hell knows?
With those
Haunting dark black eyes…..
Background, quite unclear.
But if you’re near
Jabber
BEWARE.
Who knows what might happen…
Who knows what
He/She
Is planning next.
(Will Jabber be wearing masculine pants?
Or a breast-baring feminine dress?)

Limerick:

Ari and Faline,
Sweeter than it seems.
Conversation lulls
Secrets are annulled
And cuteness is their “team.”

Chari Sonnet #4

Ari can’t get Charlie
To make a snap decision.
He flips a coin to see
Making specific precision.

Charlie doesn’t realize
How much Ari cares.
Ari makes a bee-line
When Charlie catches his stares.

Upstairs, whittling his wood
“whatever” does suffice.
Not acting as he should;
A boyfriend with a price.

“Are we together or not?” Ari asks,
Charlie just shrugs and goes back to his tasks.

Limerick:

Vanessa wants Nemo
She is trying to show
Her infinite love
As vast as the stars above,
But sometimes Nessa feels so low.

Sonnet:

Oh, that cute androgynous body
Sends shivers up her spine.
Vanessa feels so naughty,
But keeps herself in line.

Stumbles in the night
They both bump into each other.
Giving Nessa a fright
Seeing there was another.

Wearing a shirt saying, “Nemo’s bitch”
She turns red, and runs away.
Nemo laughs so hard, ze nearly busts a stitch,
Then goes right on her way.

Back in her bunk, Nessa’s confused.
Nemo in zer room smiles, completely amused.

Sonnet:

Vanessa: “Why won’t ze be with me?
I do not understand!
Sometimes I want to flee,
And have this spaceship land.”

Nemo: “Too proud I am right now,
Wait a little while.
Dear, don’t feel so low,
You’ve still got looks and style!”

Vanessa: “Still, it can be too much to bear.
I can try to get through.
But imagining you in your underwear…
Oh gosh! I think I’m blue!”

Nemo: “Being a Captain, older sibling, and mentor,
I have too many responsibilities;
But Nessa, dear, there are still so many possibilities…”

Limerick:

Hobson and Veneer.
Ain’t it quite queer?
So tall and so short
Both trying to sort
Out their feelings, to let go of fear.
(of falling in love!)

Sonnet:

Bossing Hobson around
Arguing about chores
Nemo hears a sound;
It’s Cary’s quaking snores.

Ze tries to make him wear
A maid’s dress, so small.
Hobson wants to slam
Nemo against the wall.

Life on Echo is very complicated.
So many different supernatural creatures.
Experiences are not “dated,”
But have a ton of new features.

Ogres, Fairests, Sin Eaters, Gueists, Mages, a Werewolf, a Vampire, and an Alien.
Such a variety of people, it seems to never end!

Sonnet:

Made of muscle and rock
Hobson, an ogre, so tough.
Head ticking like a clock,
If someone attacks, he punches them rough.

Then, Veneer comes along,
A beautiful Mage.
She sets his heart in song.
And quiets Hobson’s rage.

Now, together, they dance
Spotlighted on the dance floor.
Spinning and twirling past
All giggles and stories and lore.

The super tall “Maintainer,” as strong as a boulder,
Dances with a super short woman, her head way below his shoulder.

Clept's Sentence for Grammar Class!

Then the woman saw the alien, the extraterrestrial, the otherworldly man, sneaking past the other people on the ship he was on, snickering, creeping slowly, creating fear with his strangeness wherever he went.

Rachel's Madeline Poem

In an old spaceship in the galaxy that was covered with rust
Lived 10 lost supernatural creatures trying to adjust
Trying to adjust they broke their bread
And brushed their teeth and went to bed
They frowned at the good and smiled at the bad
And sometimes they were very sad
They left the ship at half past nine
Without a sign
In search of crime
Trying to avoid grime
The palest one was Vanessa
She was not afraid of True Fae
She did not miss the day
To the demons in space
Vanessa just said, “I will slap you in the face!”
And in the ship below
She knew how to frighten Captain Nemo
In the middle of the night
Captain Nemo turned on zer light
And said, “Something is not right!”
Vanessa sat up in bed
She cried and cried, her eyes were red
Hobson came quickly by
To see what made poor Vanessa cry
After listening to Zund go on about bombs
Hobson rushed to use the com
he dialed
“Roxie!” he said
“It’s an intermittent catatonia”
Everyone had to cry
Not a single eye was dry
Vanessa was in his arms
In a blanket safe and warm
In a pod with one red pencil case
They flew out into space
Vanessa woke up two hours
Later, in a room with flower
Vanessa soon fed
And the person bled

and a crack on the ceiling seemed to have a top hat
and looked like a cat.
Outside were birds, trees, and sky -
and so ten days passed quickly by.

One nice morning Captain Nemo said,
"Isn't this a fine -
day to visit Vanessa."

VISITORS FROM TWO TO FOUR
read a sign outside her door.
Tiptoeing with solemn face,
with some flowers and a vase,
in they walked and then said "Ahhh,"
when they saw the toys and candy
and the dollhouse from Nemo.
But the biggest surprise by far -
it wasn’t totally bizarre!

"Good-bye," "we'll come again," Nemo said with a cough
and the Echo fly off.
They went home and broke their bread
brushed their teeth
and went to bed.

In the middle of the night
Captain Nemo turned on the light
and said, "Something is not right!"
And afraid of a disaster
Captain Nemo ran fast
and faster,
and ze said, "Dear crew do -
tell me what is troubling you?"
And all supernatural creatures cried, "Boohoo,
we want to have intermittent catatonia too!"

"Good night, my lovelies!
Thank the stars you have a beau!
And now go to sleep!"
said Captain Nemo.
And ze turned out the light -
and closed the door -
and that's all there is -
there isn't any more.

Chari Sonnet #3

A pull so deep within
Makes my insides flail!
Ignore it, like a sin
Trying hard not to critfail.

Every journey we go through
Is linked with excitement.
I cannot wait to see you
Charlie, you bring me such enlightenment.

Try to picture this
But us together, I cannot conceive.
When you’re near, I’m in bliss
Though I desperately want to leave.

Liking you in this passionate way
Makes me want to both stay and stray.

Chari Sonnet #2

Up within my brain
There’s much more than eyes can see.
You’re driving me insane,
I just wish that I was free.

Confused, dismayed, conflicted
To figure out this path.
What caution strikes me, lifted
This yearning is a wrath.

I have this urge to save you from
Paranormal monsters and Cal.
Sometimes I feel quite numb
I just want you to be my pal.

Being just friends and all is satisfying...
But could something else be more gratifying?.....

Chari Sonnet #1

What you mean to me
I don’t really know.
My feelings make me want to flee
Do I want this “love” to grow?

Stranded by these wings
Was saving you the spark?
I see you in my dreams
This heart just belts and sings.

Your pale green skin glitters in the light.
Do I, the beastly man, doubt my sanity?
Your fierce orange spiky hair sets my heart alight.
Generating bursts of profanity.

The clenched fist pounds against the table
Charlie, to tell you the truth, why am I so unable?

Pigtopus Sonnet:

This creature emerges
From the dark.
Racing heart surges
As quick as a lark.

From the ocean, it rises
A small mysterious blob.
Wait for surprises,
It heaves and it bobs.

Then, this creature walks
Into the light.
It doesn’t even talk,
Even at first sight.

Green and blue tentacles start to uncurl.
A fuzzy pig head laughs as it twirls.

Haiku:

Silly little thing.
It can sometimes walk on land.
Breathes underwater.

Haiku:

Cute as a button.
Pigtopus, what a creature.
Octopus and Pig.

Haiku:

Pigtopus is cute.
It has lots of tentacles.
And a soft, pink head.

Limerick:

There once was a little pigtopus.
It kept on swimming in loops.
A sea monster, one day
Got in its way
And all he said was, “Oops!!!”

Pigtopus

It lifts its head
Smooth and pink
Pig nose, shining.
Slimy, squirmy tentacles
Swim through the ocean.
Breathing in cold, salty water.
Out, on the beach
All that can be seen
Is an adorable
Pink fuzzy head
Floating on the surface.
The pigtopus grasps land
Steps gently
On solid ground,
An walks out of the sea
As happy as can be.
Shaking off
(like a dog)
The pigtopus shuffles
In the sand.
What a world to behold,
It’s so freakin’ bold
To venture the earth, once again.
